HIPS and ABS have the same shrinkage rate, so HIPS parts can be produced directly with the previous mold of ABS parts without modifying the injection mold.
Therefore, under the trend of rising prices of ABS raw materials, the price advantage of HIPS is obviously greater, but the strength and toughness of ordinary HIPS are lower than ABS.
