Air conditioner anti-abnormal noise

Product name: ABSGN210/HIPS

Clients: In-depth cooperation with domestic well-known air-conditioning brands (such as Gree, Haier, AUX, TCL, etc.).

Workpiece: it is applied to parts that are subject to relative motion and thermal expansion: such as hanger frames, volutes, central control panels, and inner door handles.

Customer requirements:

The air-conditioning components will undergo relative displacement during operation, coupled with thermal expansion and contraction during the operation of the air-conditioning (cooling/heating), the displacement contacts will produce an abnormal "click" sound due to friction; the existing after-sales methods such as coating lubricating oil and pasting non-woven fabrics are cumbersome in process, low in production efficiency, and expensive in labor costs. It is urgent to solve the problem from the selection of materials!

Solutions:

1. Increase material damping

Material damping, also known as internal friction in materials science, refers to the phenomenon of mechanical vibration energy loss caused by internal reasons such as friction among the crystal grains of the material during vibration. By improving the damping properties of the material, more mechanical vibration energy can be converted into internal energy, thereby reducing noise.

2. Eliminate the stick-slip phenomenon on the surface of the material

Transform the surface properties of the material and reduce the possibility of stick-slip, thereby reducing vibration caused by stick-slip and noise.

The figure above shows the comparison of the vibration acceleration of materials under the same frictional motion. The smaller the vibration acceleration, the greater the ability of the material to absorb energy. The maximum relative value of vibration acceleration of ordinary ABS is about 2, while the maximum acceleration of anti-abnormal noise ABS is only 0.4, and the ability of energy absorption and noise reduction is significantly higher than that of ordinary ABS.

The final effect is as follows:
